So I was reading that the hard rock/metal band Metallica has finally made some of their songs available on iTunes. The band was one of a few holdouts in the industry.

Good for Metallica. Good for their die-hard fans. Good for the more casual fan that only wants a few songs.

Now if we could just get The Beatles to join in.

The Fab Four are a glaring omission in the iTunes catalog, but the band's issues with the computer maker (Apple Records/Apple Computers ... everybody's mad at everybody) make a change of heart unlikely.

Maybe we'll have better luck with Led Zeppelin.

They're not on there either.
